Five star read!!! I loved this book from the moment I started it. The realness and bravery of the female main character was a delight. The evolution of the male main character was powerful to watch as well. The verbal banter is delicious between all characters especially the main characters. A bit of spice sprinkled in to keep things interesting. I can’t wait to read book two!!
I just do not care about the main characters. The spice & relationship are a bit compelling so I held on. It wasn’t enough to finish though

I am feral for Cayden. I loved Everytime he opened his mouth, especially when talking to Elowen.
I also absolutely adore Finnian with my whole heart. I love his relationship with Elowen and how he is always by her side no matter what. Found family is one of my favorites 🥰
The nicknames the main characters have for each other made me so happy any time they'd use them because it was so cute. I can't wait to see more of them and I am praying everything turns out well for both of them, as well as Finnian. If Finnian doesn't get a happy ending I am going to be so upset.
I also love that Elowen is unapologetically going after her revenge, I do love a morally grey character, especially when it's the woman. I hope she does anything possible to get the revenge she's wanted this whole time
