I need to send CJ Leede my next therapy bill because I am UNWELL. How did this manage to be so deranged & repulsive yet also introspective, feminist, and lowkey funny???? I laughed, felt depressed, and wanted to puke all at the same time. Also the romance was kind of hot? Somehow this all worked in this book. I’ll never be okay again after reading this. It was the worst book I have possibly ever read… and it was awesome.
Also won’t be eating eggs for a while and will never look at Elsa the same. What a perfect book to read with Halloween this week too. Perfect timing. 3.5 (rounded up to 4) traumatized stars.

It had been a while since I last listened to the audiobook and going back to it now I just don't care. It doesn't stand out. It's definitely of the theme of female American psychos. I probably won't ever finish it.
