I definitely would have preferred to read these witticisms in their original context, rather than in tiny segments. I hadn’t read any work by Wilde until now, and I am surprised at his arrogance. Some of these perceptions are rather genius and comical, others are dry and ridiculous.

Ik vrees dat dit boekje toch echt zelf 'dull' is. Mee begonnen in het vliegtuig naar Estland en wilde het toen al vrij snel uit het raam gooien. Nu dan eindelijk in sneltreinvaart doorheen geploeterd.

Leuke titel, verder niet veel soeps.
Sorry Oscar, je andere werk is vast 10x beter.
