I loved this story. I giggled so much while reading this. Oliver was so funny, even though he wasn’t trying to be. I loved his way of thinking and how he expressed himself. I loved how he didn’t allow what happened to him hold him back. Sydney and Oliver's story was so beautiful. I loved every minute of them. But with all the good the underlying story was so sad and I often found myself tearing up. What happened to Oliver was heartbreaking I felt so bad for him and everyone involved. Overall I really liked this book.I couldn't put it down.I think this story will stay with me for some time

What a load of waffle. Not for me at all. Oliver gave me the massive ick and there were so many inconsistencies around his character. One minute hes so nieve and innocent he doesn't even know how to answer a phone and the next hes some super vet thats able to know exactly how to treat an injured racoon back to health?? But also doesn't know the name of a squirrel?? ok then.

Even if it did make sense (which it didnt) the whole being a grown man that thinks and acts like a child UNTIL it comes to wanting to get down & dirty with the fmc was just an ick for me that I couldn't get past.

Loved this book. Raw, emotional and heartfelt. I felt the emotions of each character so deeply and felt their pain.

I was truly blown away by the storytelling in this novel! I love the romance genre but I can admit that most stories in that genre are cookie cutters of each other. Lotus by Jennifer Hartmann really stood apart by the stories the characters tell. I was hooked from the very beginning! Although there was not as much spice compared to other books, I really felt the love between the two main characters. This book is truly about healing in more way than one. I cannot recommend this book enough! you won't be disappointed!
