The curiosity about a vegan vamp got me.
I mean, how does that even work? Thanks to the hallucination of dead aunt Gladys she figures it out. There were quite a few chuckles, she moves the plot along quickly (which I approve of), and made me want to immediately buy the second book in the series.

A cute and short clean and cozy mystery. It wasn't really great or horrible, kinda just in the middle. 2.5 stars

I honestly liked this more than I thought I would. It was quick, fun, and entertaining. There are characters I would like to get to know more of. My major gripe is that certain things could have been fleshed out more. The clinic that Mallory visits is awkwardly written and so is the ending. It's stops rather abruptly.
