I was really excited for this novel based on the tropes, but I was not prepared for the humor. It was laugh out loud funny - I legitimately was cackling at some of the moments and inner thoughts.

I really like how this book didn’t just straight into the spice. You were introduced to Sophie and Bram. Their predicament is that he’s her boss and her best friend’s dad. An injury and a snowstorm bring them together and I liked how absolutely sweet and patient Bram was to Sophie. Very little angst. Some build up where Sophie had some information to share with the main characters, but the drama was minimal. A great short read that had me kicking me feet and swooning

Cleo White writes delightful age gap romances that are sweet and spicy. While I have loved many of her books, this one wasn’t a favorite. I liked Sophie and Bram, but we got to see very little of their romantic buildup or tension - which is often where I fall in love with a couple and really root for them. It also felt like more spice than plot at times, which isn’t often my jam. However, I would still recommend it to those looking for a spice-heavy age-gap novella.

I just realized she had Honor and Julian's book coming VERY soon, and I can't wait to read that one too.
This one was perfect, the angst, the pining, the snowed-in-together, THE APP (giggling and screaming). I couldn't get enough of them, how spicy they were, how mature, how open and vulnerable they got.
I will be reading more of this author, so thank you Han for pushing me to read this by mentioning how much you liked the ARC you got!
