I’ve read this so many times but I wanted to read it again to officially start and finish the entire series. Such a good setup to the world and the characters. From the beginning I liked Josh. All the time she was sneaking in and out I thought surely her mother knows so I liked at the end when we found out that they knew. I did agree with Liz for being upset when Cammie chose not to stand up for Anna in the pharmacy. I liked when she was talking about free will when she broke up with Josh and how she used hers to go back to the life she’d chosen now knowing what she was giving up. I liked the plot twist at the end of Josh telling Cammie to thank her mom for the tea. And i liked that at the very end Cammie, Bex, Macey, and Liz were all walking together. Throughout the book I loved seeing Macey’s character development. Going from hating it to actually caring; having physics books inside her vogue magazine, studying, helping Cammie with boys, sticking up for Anna, her quote “we appreciate your vote”, and so much more. I hope that she gets out of the younger level classes soon so that she can be with the others in coveops and stuff. Really looking forward to the rest of the series!

This book just felt far to young for me. It’s been on my shelves for years and as a 20 year old it clearly wasn’t for my age category but I thought I would give it a go anyway however I felt like for a 15/16 year old the main character felt very young and I was cringing a bit at the writing but I think that’s totally down to when this book came out and the fact I am not the target audience. I won’t be carrying on with this series but I’m going to donate the book to someone who the book is much more suited to.
This was a a pretty funny book - the premise is that there is an exclusive school to train girl spies and on a trip to town, Cammie meets a local boy, which causes problems since the school is top secret. Most of the girls who goto the school don't have a lot of experience with normal everyday things so Cammie treats her meetings with Josh as a mission. Fun quick read and I think there is a sequel!
99.9% sure this is the first “real book” I have ever read. Still in my library
