Almost dnf'd

I was tempted to dnf. The first chapter was needed for plot. The 2nd-4th could have been condensed down to one or 2 without losing anything in the plot.

Overall the story was good and the plot was enjoyable if a little drawn out.

Solid 3/5 spice but some scenes had major red flags that took me out of the moment.

The power exchange lacked consent or acknowledgement which made a few scenes rather uncomfortable to read.

No one reads a book like this expecting it too be good. And it definitely wasn't.

Made it to page 13. So many things happened with no explanation in those few pages. Fat shaming the villain was a no go from me. Among weird repetitive language and just juvenile characterizations.
