What a sweet story! The Right Design is a quick, fun read with a great main character named Carrie. She breaks it off with her boyfriend of six years and even after he begs for forgiveness and a second chance, she wants nothing to do with him She even moves to a new town in a different state in order to get over him. That takes a lot of guts to turn your life upside down and make a change like that. More power to her!

'You know when you're so much in love with someone and can't imagine your life without that one person, even when you're going throught tough times? There is no one I'll ever love more.'

So, Carrie meets Brad at the bar where her friend, Oliver is serving up drinks. Let me tell you, Brad did not make a good first impression on Carrie that evening. How ironic it is when she finds out that Brad is her very first client. Can she get past that horrible first encounter when what she really wants is to give in to that chemistry thing they have going on? It was fun watching their relationship struggle through the akwardness and move on to a more deeper one.

I have to admit though, I was really hoping for a few more sparks to fly between Carrie and Oliver. That would have made for an interesting twist to the story - two hot guys after one beautiful gal. Oh well, things turn out okay in the end anyway.

I really loved the relationship between Carrie and her sister, Sara. They were so totally there for each other when they needed to be. You could tell they were really close. And Sean, Sara's husband, sounded like he was a fabulous guy too. So there were a lot of secondary characters who all made the story that much more enjoyable.

The Right Design is Isabella's first novel and I enjoyed it very much. It will be exciting to see what she has planned next.

Such a quick, sweet read! I really dove into this story rather quickly (mostly because I was reading it in between two other books and wanted to get it done faster than normal)... but it worked well with this book. The pace was steady and kept me involved until the very end. I like when a book just doesn't give me a good break, and I keep wanting more.

I really enjoyed getting to know Carrie. She's one of those successful women who thrives on doing well in life. She's literally got THE life... a great man, great job (had just been named Partner), and then life just slaps her in the face and her world comes tumbling down around her in pieces. We get to see her pick herself up again, make some super scary and impulsive decisions and move on with her life... and then there was Brad. With a few twists and turns along her path... Brad helps Carrie see a new side to life in Palm Beach. It was wonderful watching this relationship blossom.

"From lows to highs, what a whirlwind of emotions it had been, but now, here she was, about to embark on an adventure of a lifetime."

The only thing that threw me off in this novel was the perspective, there was a big of a disconnect with Carrie for me... I would have loved to see this one be written in first person, to gain a little more access to Carrie and understand her a little deeper. Same with Brad, a duel chapter perspective could have been nice as well. Otherwise it was a wonderfully written story about starting over, and second chances. Great read, will definitely be recommending to the folks that love a good love story.

Carrie Newman thought she had it all, the loving boyfriend, job and lifestyle. in one moment she found it destroyed. Although Carrie tried her best to let it go, she decided the best chance at starting over is moving to Florida with a fresh slate.

When her new job as an Interior Designer lands her with client Brad Larson. Brad lets it be known he is interested, but Carrie is determined to not cross that line and end up healing another broken heart. As much as Carrie tries to stay away, there is something magnetic about Brad that draws her in. Could there be a future with a man who is a rumored playboy or has Carrie found the man underneath?

This is the type of story you are hooked immediately and invested in the characters. Carrie is a delightful heroine who has had a tough time of it, she doesn't let it devastate her though, I so appreciated that she toughened it out quickly. I liked Brad, he oozes masculinity and was eager to see where the story would go. Great read.
