First dive into ancient literature for fun (not because of school or something).
This was great. Once you understand how to pronounce the names, and can read without pausing to try and pronounce every name, the story is quite enthralling.

Reading "The Odyssey" for school years ago was a revelation—this ancient story that felt so vivid, with characters so original and adventures so captivating! It’s a poem that is timeless, both in its descriptions and in its context. The resilience, courage and relentless pursuit of home, despite the countless obstacles and trials Odysseus’ faces, remain powerful and moving.

Beyond that, it’s fascinating to see how the Ancient Greeks understood the world through the prism of divine intervention—how monsters and mythical creatures roamed the world and shaped Odysseus' journey and how he, with his cunningness and heroism, navigated these dangers to create this beautiful adventure.

It’s rare for a literary work to remain so compelling over the course of centuries. "The Odyssey" is a testament to how truly great works can grow with us, and how we, in turn, evolve with them and through them.
