Its so good(?) to be back in the world of the First Law. Theres a lot of familiar faces, and plenty of new ones. I was kind of lost trying to remember all the connections from the first trilogy and the three extra bonus stories, so i recommend getting a recap before starting this one. But Abercrombie is just as dark and violent as ever, and it's a break-neck pace that never lets up once it's rolling.
