Easily the best example of a novel dependent on the subversion of traditional vampire mythology, despite a few dodgy words and superfluous sequences here and there, it's also thematically rich and morally challenging.

Idk if it was the writing or the narrator but the detailed explanation of the main character's urination, the pedophilia, the detailed bullying...any building of any kind of horror or sense of horror is quickly overshadowed by disgust at hearing how these children or child like appearance is described.

Probably the most most absurd coming-of-age stories I will ever read. 

Covered in red flags, this is a book that covers a lot of tough topics and situations. 

I absolutely loved it. 

Actually told from quite a few different perspectives with a 3rd person POV. The author's use of perception and timing creates massive suspense. He did amazing.
