A fantastic graphic novel that harks back to the golden age days of 2000AD writing and artwork, both of which are second-to-none.
The artwork here is so innovative and beautifully crafted that it feels animated on the page, bursting forth and wrapping you in the action.

A quick read that follows three mechanized, highly trained killer animals. The story seems believable and we can see how animals may be equally or even more dangerous than humans.
I believe the author was probably trying to make arguments for animal treatments and perhaps pointing out how hypocritical we are about the value of animals/pets.

I really didn't think I would be sad concerning android animals but this is a really touching short comic. I mean really, a robot rabbit that poops immensely powerful grenades? But it will pull you in
Ah. This was great. I cried. (And I'm so glad it's a one-off. It's a one-off, right?)
Morrison at his best: when he's free to do whatever he wants he has few rivals.
Also, the deluxe edition is pretty good, I'd say it's worth the extra money.

8.5/10
Violent, touching, and impossible to set down. Chapter 1 in particular has very little dialogue, but is incredibly engaging with rapid fire silent frames that keep your mind racing to try to unpack it all. Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely have put together something really special.

Wow. This is one of those books that you almost regret reading because then you can't read it again in order to experience the tumult of emotions in the same way again (though I am certain I will be re-reading it at a future date). I'd been meaning to read We3 since I first heard of it about a year ago (recommended to me by a good friend) and can I just say that it was truly fantastic? It was also horrifying, depressing, heart-wrenching, and reminded me all too much of my own pets and such... but at the same time, it was beautiful, uplifting (in its own strange way), and very sad.
Loved the art too, that was wonderfully refreshing. Looking forward to reading more of Grant Morrison now, after having read this!

It would be a 4 star, but the art was a but off-putting at points.
I’ve been meaning to read more of Grant Morrison’s work as they are heralded as one of THE comic writers out there. I started with something short, and I was not disappointed. This is really short and I recommend it for a quick and poignant read.
