An inspiring book that reveals more with every reread. APJ Abdul Kalam was known for his simplicity and humility during his lifetime, and this book is a testimony to the same ideals. In spite of his towering achievements, there's not a single boast, nor any sign of vanity. No wonder then that he is, by far, the most respected President the country has ever had.
My only complaint is that the book gets over too soon. I really would have loved to receive more personal details and insights from the great man -- a true legend and an inspiration forever.

Though I don't believe in the idea of God, this made sense to me and gives out a clear message that ' Suffering is the essence of success'.
This book is inspiring and I would recommend it to young adults /teens who are going to begin a profession in any field as this book offers some great guidance reasonable for each career.
What an inspiring read! This book does not only consist of the life story of Mr. Kalam but is all about lessons he left for us to learn from. The way he wrote his ideas into words is brilliant and there are not enough adjectives to praise his work. He was a great personality and I loved reading about him and his work. He was the pride of India and an inspiring human being. This book made me feel happy and taught me so many life lessons. I loved this book tremendously and would highly recommend it.
