Dammit, I have to read that again. I started out feeling that Emily Bronte (Sorry, not sorry. Can't put those dots over the E) was a pretentious chica. Well, let's face it: she is. What was the need for the wild sentence structures? However, she got a hold of me by the time the second generation came around. She left me scratching my head and yelling that "surely Heathcliff cannot get away holding captives and forcing marriage, but here we are." As I said, I now have to read it again. You know, I truly believe that is why these C U Next Tuesdays used such complex sentence structures. They knew they would have you before the end, and then you would want to read their books again just to see what you missed the first time.
