I thought it was a romance novel (look at the cover!!) but then it turned into murder and trauma. 
I am not convinced about the ending.

Was expecting the “chick lit with a great message” as is the norm from Weiner, but got “chick lit with a side of murder mystery” and I’m not upset about it.

I absolutely loved this book! I have been a fan of Jennifer Weiner since her debut novel, Good in Bed. This book just confirms why I love her style so much. Many have called it a "beach read" and I'd have to agree although sometimes I feel that name take something away from the quality of the book. It's light and fun but her style just speaks to me and definitely touches the heart.
