Her Soul to Take has probably made it to the bottom of my favorites list. I thoroughly enjoyed and have little to harp about.
HSTT has (in my opinion) a good balance of plot and sex. Well. Maybe more sex, BUT what plot it did have I thought worked out well for this book! It ends on a cliffhanger and the fact that it has 2 more books after it, following other characters in the same story, I think helps a lot. The plot itself was very intriguing to me and had me in a vice, keeping me curious in what happens next. I do feel a little bad for Victoria, but... meh, I said a little.
Rae is probably one of the few FMCs that I find neutral. I don't utterly dislike her but she is by far not my favorite. She was a little more on the annoying side for an FMC, for me personally, especially when it came to her ghost hunting... I guess maybe that's just her being serious about it? Fine, whatever I guess. But the absolute sheer lack of self preservation and over whelming need to make everything logical was not it for me. Maybeeee that was supposed to be a way to open her up to Leon... but yea, no. Not for me. Like girl just admit the supernatural is f*cking real like you wanted to and barricade your windows. Damn.

If you told me a few days ago that i’d enjoy a demon romance i would’ve laughed in your face but here we are 🤷🏻‍♀️ this book was very entertaining, i loved the plot and the writing, the vibes were immaculate, don’t even get me started on Leon 🤭 he was so flirty and possessive ugh i love him

Not bad but not the best dark romance I’ve read. I like Rea but damn that girl walked into every trap/opposite way she was supposed to go at every turn, which I will admit got a little annoying. But I like the story line, the ending was a bit anticlimactic, I don’t see how a god wouldn’t notice a mark marking her soul as taken, especially if she’s literally naked when she’s thrown into the mine? I feel like even a god would notice that way quicker than it happened in the book. The spice was spicy,

I would have enjoyed this book so much more if the FMC hadn't been so stupid.   I understand the need to advance the plot but she was a bit much.   The mmc was well written

Again, a lovely Dark Romance to feed my dark and twisty soul that I swallowed in one day!

And again, because it is dark romance I always recommend reading the trigger warnings prior to reading the book, but if you are like me and love Dark Romance then this is a great book for you.

A little bit of monster, a little cult, some murder, a little bit of rough sex... All that in one book and man I'm hooked. I don't get why so many people rate it at 4 or 3 stars because it's beautifully written, dark and twisty, and of course spicy.

I love that Leon had lovers that weren't just straight females, he was very outspoken about his relationship with men so that's something a lot of authors either skirt around or avoid but I appreciated it.

Rae is stubborn and really doubts the word of Leon. She assumed at one point he just abandoned her and was angry, but I didn't believe that for one moment. She hesitated giving her soul to Leon, the one thing that would both protect her and tie her to him for eternity.

I need another book with these two! ASAP!

Characters were not my type of people. I loved the idea for the story, but hated the way it was being executed.
