I absolutely loved this book! I went into it blind, and the storyline pulled me in from the very beginning. It was so good that I couldn't put it down and ended up reading it in one sitting. I immediately started the second book.

This was spicy, kinky, paranormal romance. The story is focused on Rae, mortal ghost hunter, and Leon, a demon trapped in this world. I loved the main characters, I loved how hard he fell. I loved how he’s only soft for her.

The setting of this book is an eerie town with dark forests, abandoned mines, & nightmarish monsters. I don't think I would want to visit Abelaum myself, but I loved learning about the history & legends of the town!! 🌙
Despite the FMC being frustrating at times with her choices (girl has no sense of self preservation), I really enjoyed this story. I think this is the first book I've read with a demon MMC, but it definitely won't be my last (in fact, I've already picked up book 2 🤭).
As you can imagine, demons have some pretty interesting fetishes & kinks- this book is dark & spicy, 🌶🌶🌶🌶 so definitely check your trigger warnings. 💝
