This captures the essence of everything I love in the Shadowhunter world, it’s far and away my favorite of this series. Alec and Magnus, Jem and Tessa, it’s the perfect crossover and brings characters I love together.

SLIGHT SPOILERS I just have to add this separately because the adorableness is too much. I could literally read a QOAAD size book about just the Lightwood-Bane family. No plot, no villain, no conflict, just Magnus driving a (bedazzled and magically summoned) minivan to drop off the kiddos at preschool. They're such good parents and I really hope we get a TEC (The Eldest Curses) book with them as a family, like set past 2012.

I been wanting a storyline of Alec and his kids and I am excited that we got it.
It was such a funny story and I think we needed it so much after all the novellas in the book that got us crying.
We learn so much more again about the Lost Herondale and OMG it all intertwined together and I just can say Cassandra Clare is a genius.
Her storyline is amazing, her writing is beautiful and amazing. She makes the Shadowhunter world a never ending entertaining world we all live in and I love it.
We get to meet Magnus and Alec son Rafe, and the journey on how he became to be in the family. It is a beautiful and cute story. I love him so much. He is definitely team Magnus.
OMG I LOVE LILY. She is definitely us fangirling over Jem. We all know we can't resist Jem.

THAT WAS PRETTY! Lily is my wife, I love her so much. OMG AND BABY RAF, HE WAS SO SWEET, AND ROBERT LIGHTWOOD HE WAS SO KING AND NOW HE'S DEAD UGH MY HEART. Anyway let's go to the most important stuffs.
