Still love the series but I cannot stand this couple. There's little character growth and the entire book is too sex-focused. I appreciate the author's catering to different tastes, but this was not for me. I almost DNF, but the second half is better than the first half. Audiobook narration was fantastic, as usual.

Like I liked parts of this but lowkey didn’t like either Sabine or Rydstrom.
Story wise this was great! Like Omort the evil sorcerer has been a plot point for several books, so to finally get a conclusion was great. Some of the other books like introduce a villain and then immediately resolve it, but this one lingered which built suspense.

Good! Not my favorite of the series but it was good to see the context around the glimpse from the last one. Moral greyness was fun, omort is so gross. Excited to see what comes next as always.
