I liked this. Seeing characters and events I know from a different perspective is always fun. Some of this book was so dreadfully cringe but it was balanced well with actual development and emotional growth, as well as a lot of funny dialogue and thoughts from my boy Jean. Honestly I'm not as endeared to any of the trojans as I was to the foxes but this was mainly about Jean so that's fine. It did feel like they were having the same conversations in circles for most of the book but when actual events happened and those events allowed for Jean's introspection and memories I enjoyed that. I could've taken or left Jeremy's perspective because I felt that it didn't add much to the overall plot. I also felt that any indication of a relationship/mutual pining between Jean and Jeremy should've been a slower burn but I'm just a yearner what can I say.

i adore all of the foxes and trojans, but jeremy and jean have a special tug at my heart. if this trilogy doesn’t end with them wrapping each other up in a big blanket and finally feeling safe, i will riot.
