Having not read Twilight in at least a decade, it didn't bother me that I knew most of the story. I enjoyed seeing things from Edward's perspective, and it gave some cute insights into his family, though I don't think the book needed to be 750 pages long. At some point Edward's eternal angst gets to be a drag. However, it's made me want to reread the other books in the series. I would've loved to know the perspective of the Cullens in that one, especially Rosalie and Jasper, but alas, we will have to make do with Bella.
Graphic: Gore, Violence, Blood
I don’t think I can give this book a rating. It took me forever to finish and was kind of slow in parts but I still enjoyed it. My 14 year old self would have loved this book so much.
if you see me adding this to my read shelf... mind your business
definitely don't read this immediately after finishing twilight, reading the same story over again definitely ruins your motivation to pick up the book. the writing is really nice, and edward's pov makes the story a lot more meaningful, and bella a lot more likeable 😭. i'm very excited to pick this up again when i've read a few more things inbetween.
