i’m thinking like a five out of ten
- it was cool to see into peoples thoughts
- i liked edward as a character more he is so complex and i liked that he instigated ben and angela’s relationship. i also liked how he put bella first in everything and like how genuinely devoted he is
- bella actually had a personality!!! it was so nice to read the story where bella wasn’t so boring
- i liked getting background on the cullen family, like how carlisle stopped at churches because it reminded him of his first life with his father. jaspers abilities being so broad like in the baseball scene was very fun too
- it was definitely well written like it was extremely nice to read a complex book of twilight yk

it was a bit long. but this book is legit the epitome of yearning so i cannot complain

So much nostalgia feels but wow reading Edward’s thoughts all the time was just.... depressing? I’m glad the entire story was already out before this, as one already knows about the HEA. If not, this would be nearly impossible to read.

The best part about this story was seeing the Cullens interacting and getting more of their history and personalities. Loved that and thank you for writing and sharing, Ms Meyer.

I had read the leaked version years ago, and found it intriguing. I finished this book in two days - well, it's less than 700 pages - and found myself enjoying it greatly. It's not War and Peace, okay, but it has characters and world-building that I enjoyed the first time around. Edward's POV is much deeper and richer. You get huge amounts of back-story, because he can read minds and his adopted sister can see futures, and that alone adds untold depth to the original story.

Plus, you can see how Edward's "old-fashioned" values collide with the values of today. He is aware that the world has changed around him, and that conflict makes for a good story too.

I had a good time - I didn't want to surface back into the real world. Highborw literature? maybe not, but I had fun, and the story made me happy in the time of COVID. And that's what I ask for.

Está interesante, realmente, pero insufriblemente largo... yisuscraist con 500 pág menos todo habría estado mejor.
emotional funny reflective slow-paced

Edward is a sad little emo boy. And he’s obsessed, and I love it.

This book confirmed to me just how unhinged Edward is.
