This wordless picture book is hilarious!

I'm really just not a huge fan of Wiesner's wordless picture books. They're beautiful, of course, and stunning and tell great stories, but I have a hard time with their complexity. This one was not much different, as far as my reaction went - but I think I appreciated it much more now as a cat owner than I would have before Jonathanne and Tesla.

I looked through this book and since it has no words, I am counting it as read.
Really cute story. Very soft kitty has claws!

I loved trying to decode the aliens words! Cat lovers will agree that Mr. Wiesner got Mr. Wuffles just right. And as for what's behind the radiator grill (or under the couch)...whose to say what's really there!!

Hmmm. I have to say I love the pictures. I love the close up of that cat! It's no surprise that it was a Caldecott Honor for 2014. However, I'm a read out loud kind of gal, and I like stories with pictures AND words. This book has no written story. It's worth a look..........work with your kids and get them to tell you a story that goes with the pictures, and you'll have yourself a winner. But not my thing.

This book was entertaining. The pictures are filled with details and are brightly colored. It has an action packed comic book feel. It has a cat. What else could you want?

Adorable!

This book is critically acclaimed and the pictures are beautiful. It just wasn't for my girl and I.

Mr. Wuffles is a wordless picture book about a cat and alien invaders. It is super cute and very different from a lot of the picture books out there. I love the meeting of the aliens and the bugs.

It just didn't capture me. Aliens and kitties, not my thing.
