This was a lovely short story. Galatea is a perfect tale about men who only want women for their bodies and women who take control.

So great! It's exactly like the author said in the afterward: a great myth crosses centuries and, unfortunately, this story is still a reality for some women in this world.

(3.5) it’s such a powerful, dark short story rooted in greek mythology. the author's feminist modern retelling sets it apart from many other stories I've read lately, particularly because of its deep connection to greek mythology. surprisingly, it only took me about 20 minutes to read, but the impact it left was truly thought-provoking. despite it being short, I would definitely recommend it.
