Tampoco he entendido bien algunas conclusiones finales.

This book was described as Greek mythology meets The Hunger Games. It was definitely violent and dark. So obviously I loved it.
I related pretty quickly to the main character after she was fist fighting in a basement and dropped this thought
“Lore was not about to die on booze soaked mats in the basement of a Chinese restaurant that didn’t even serve mapo tofu.” Like yes girl.
I will say that the author mixed in some rape / pedophilia that kind of felt unnecessary and didn’t really contribute to the plot. But otherwise…
I saw a lot of hate on GoodReads that Lore wasn’t consistently like a badass female warrior the entire time. But the truth is, Lore lived through a lot of trauma. Sometimes the strength is being soft and trusting others again. It’s learning to receive again. I thought it was beautiful.

Amazing and I loved every second of reading it. It’s not for everyone and I completely understand that.
I love the mix of Greek mythology and modern settings. And Lore (main character) had a interesting viewpoint as the story was told mostly from her perspective.
I’ve already recommended it to a few friends before I finished reading it. There were parts of the story that did make me a little emotional or frustrated.
Overall, I give this a 8/10.
