This book was a warm and cozy read for me. There were so many synchronicities between this book and things in my life that I instantly connected to it. It was funny and heartfelt. Loved!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters are down to earth and spirited. I laughed quite a lot of times and while I don't believe this is a literary masterpiece, it kept me engaged in reading until I got to the end. I wish there were more books from this author and will be waiting for the next one! Loved it!

I’m very torn about this one. I enjoyed the premise (fake-dating? Yes, please!) but the characters were frustrating. The whole family was a toxic nightmare and it was all glossed over at the end. It was like Phoebe never yelled at her during dinner and basically blamed her for everything wrong in her life. When it was never Pen’s fault. There was a lot of miscommunication (which I hate as a trope) and the entire time I just wanted Pen to leave the house and never come back. I was also just a bit annoyed that the entire book took place over just a few days (with a few flashbacks here and there).

i loved this one! it was quick light read and i loved the mix of drama and romance without being too cheesy.

This was a very average book in my opinion. No strong opinions either way.

I will say that it was a very quick read. But I was hoping for more from this one.
