Wonderful stories with creative ways to solve parenting problems. The kids get a kick out of the solutions and sometimes even think about what they do that might warrent Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle to intervene.
Read this my six year old as part of his 1st grade curriculum. He loved the book and by chapter 5 would exclaim "Why don't they just call Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle? She knows what to do!" He was excited to read another chapter every day. The stories are funny and the characters are interesting.

Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle will always be one of my childhood favorites. I love rereading this series!
I love this book. I read it aloud to the kids.
This was fun in some ways but I really disliked all the talk about spanking, and some of the supposedly fabulous "cures" used by Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle were quite inappropriate in my opinion (including having classmates shame a child into sharing, instead of instilling a sense of empathy in him). The fathers always seem to retreat into their newspapers etc. rather than having anything useful to do with the children - unless they are spanking the kids.
Very dated book. Needs lots of discussion with children.

I love the Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle books! I used to read them all the time as a kid and get a kick out of the fanciful "cures" she finds to common childhood problems.
Such a fun book. The first chapter book my four-year-olds really engaged with, and my big kids loved it as well. We've read it a few times now.
