Letting my daughter review this one for us since we listened together:

By Emily (age 8)

This book is awesome. I loved the silly cures for each kid. I think my mommy is going to use some on me!

We read excerpts from this book in Writing With Ease, the curriculum I use for homeschooling my little kids, so I wanted to read the book with them. It's a bit old-fashioned (the first book in this series dates back to about 1947), but it's not too out-of-date to appeal to kids. I found out my youngest (just turned 8) already knew the character of Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle from an Audible audiobook his Amazon Echo (Kids) recommended to him that he listened to on his own! Anyway, the premise is that she's this wise lady who knows all about kids and helps all the parents in her town cure their children of common childhood afflictions, like not wanting to take baths or not wanting to clean their rooms. It's fun!

I read this book about nine months ago. It is a book filled with cures for bad habits. Mrs. Piggle Wiggle uses magical things to cure the children's bad habits, such as special powder, candy, and a bunch of other things. This book is fiction, meaning that it didn't happen in real life. Also meaning that this was somebody's imagination. To tell the truth, there are several Mrs. Piggle Wiggle books. I think you should read them too!!! Scarlett Stewart

Cute, sweet stories. Evie adored Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle and thought she was so funny. I think I would have liked to see more of her interactions with the kids at her house—the first chapter was my favorite!

Delightful!!

Another audio book for the family. My 8, 7, and 4 year old all laughed and laughed, and then asked to listen to another Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle book. Would highly recommend as a read aloud.

This is the first chapter book we've read. It was ok, but I didn't realize there were more in the series.

So fun and innocent. I love the old-timey vibes and the cures for things my own kids do. A classic for good reason.
