This book was a reminder to me of why I love reading. Throughout the series, I have always been drawn into the story, but this one just really made me feel like I was there. It sounds cliche, but I laughed, cried, sat in stunned silence, and often times felt a sense of awe of what was happening. The fact that I cried non-stop through the last 5 chapters of this book just shows how connected I became to the characters and the story. I found myself hoping that it would never end.

It may not have been what many people hoped for, but in my opinion it was how it should go. Thank you, Christopher Paolini for taking us on this amazing journey. I'm so sad to see it end, but I am also excited for what you will bring us in the future.

I was rather hesitant to read this book as I feared it was going to be as slow and boring as Brisingr was. Oh, how wrong I was to think that as it was the complete opposite. Inheritance was by far the best book in the series and you can tell that Paolini has improved since he first wrote and published Eragon.

Although, that being said the last 100 pages did seem to drag on but it wasn't as if it boring, not at all. After all there were more things to be resolved after Galbatorix's death. Thus, I can understand why it was as long as it was. I mean I am not complaining because it was a great book.

Oh, and can I just mention how alluring and mysterious Angela is?

The final book of the Inheritance series had a big task to wrap up the world of Eragon. As any fan will tell you, an author never does exactly what we want them to and this was of course the case with Inheritance. Although I don't love the ending of the book (and Paolini leaves himself plenty of room for additional sequels), the story was well done and had lots of surprises.
