Ya know, if this guy apologised properly I would've give it a 4 stars.

Maeva, you're badass. Kiran, you need to learn to grovel.

This book had no right being this good. I don’t typically gravitate towards second chance romance, but this took me by surprise. There’s something about unreciprocated love that almost everyone can resonate with, and this story hit me hard. Loved the FMC-the MMC was a total prick, but quickly grew on me.

Love this one, the friends to enemies to lovers was amazing, loved how much he fought for it and apologized for fucking up.
It was amazing!

This was probably the least exciting of the series so far and the MMC wasn't my favourite but it was still just as addictive. Eager to know what happens next!

More like 4.15-ish stars, but I'm willing to round up to 4.25. This wasn't my favorite book in the series (especially immediately following the mad horde king), but I still liked it. I'm not sure that I love the second chance lovers trope, but it was a refreshing change after the first three books. I liked Kiran just fine; he was a wishy washy young man, but he eventually figured out who he wanted and didn't stray. Maeva was fine too. She was totally in denial about her feelings, but I get that she wanted to protect herself. I did love that she was a healer and spoke the language!
