WOW! The best book of the series. Mira and Arsinoe struggle to find their path on the Mainland while Arsinoe struggles with dreams of past queens. Katharine starts her reign as queen. Jules must determine her fate.

It took awhile for me to warm up to Three Dark Crowns, and One Dark Throne proved continuing was worth it. I was so eager for Two Dark Reigns to find out what happens next, and again it wasn't what I was expecting, yet it's so on brand it couldn't happen any other way. I think this one is even better than ODT because they're all working on separate things rather than trying to achieve the same goal for themselves. I didn't think it was slow at all.

The last chapters totally saved the rest of the book.Not that it was bad,I just feel like it wasn't as good as the other two but still it was a great read

This series is off the rails. In the best way. If you're looking for YA fantasy that is not predictable AT ALL, here you go.

4.5 Stars! I absolutely love this series. In this one, we meet new characters, get some insight into the lore of the island, and we also get more plot twists! This one drags at times, but I still find this series so addicting, and the way this book ended makes me SO READY FOR BOOK 4!
