Was this bad? Yes. Will I read probably the next 1-3 books before finally dropping the series? Also yes.

I forgot how terrible and toxic they were, so at least the show was a faithful adaptation in that regard

I cringed a few times. It took me far too long time finish this because I just couldn't care about the main characters. They just seemed bleh.

I liked the story! Right up my alley! I loved the show! I just can’t help but hate Daphne at the end and it was hard to read. She raped Simon and that all there is to it. Made me hate her and wish he would leave her. Love Simon so much and glad he is happy at the end…
