While it was fairly basic, I enjoyed the story within this book. It followed the same pattern a lot of these books do. I did find that I liked the actual writing a lot, it generally felt mature and I wasn’t annoyed by the characters.
 

While I wasn’t surprised by the kidnapping at the end, I was more distraught by it than I typically would be because I know how bad pack silver is and I don’t want Demi to be mixed up with them.

I am more in to sweet verse scenarios. I didn't love that she had to run away from an abusive pack and I didn't care about the characters enough or feel the story was unique enough to bother finishing.
