Oh… my… goodness!!! Words cannot describe how much fun this book was to read!!! So much happening!! This wonderful story has everything you could ever dream of! And I can’t wait for the next one!!!
There are a lot of spelling errors in this one, but I really enjoyed the plot. So I overlooked them for the most part.
Interesting premise with a rebirth element but nothing too special.
Interesting premise. However, things are jumbled and not well explained. A LOT of Trigger warnings! Check the author's website for a list of warnings. Although this is set to be the first in the series, I feel a lot of the world was left undiscussed. This is supposed to be a world of Gods, immortals (vampires), and other creatures. However, all things are introduced on a "need to know" basis, and some without any explanation. I really did love the format though the type on the page seems shifted more to the center. I loved that there are links to the author's website with character pics and a playlist for the book. I also love the illustrations throughout.

I really enjoyed this book and felt honored to be able to read it as an ARC reader!
The first chapter absolutely had me hooked in, and then when this tall dark and handsome guy came in I couldn't absorb the words fast enough to learn more about him, and see what would happen next!
*Spice level* - To me measured out to be a ACOMAF level (which was perfect for the first book.)
*5 Star Plot* - I felt like the plot was solid! And the end made me want more, I need answers dang it!! (I felt like Charlie Day in the mail room putting the pieces together, iykyk!)
*All the pro's what are the cons?* The only thing I can really think of is one of the fights confused me a little, but it could be how my imagination was trying to capture it.. there were a couple of characters that I hope we get a little more back story later in the series, they were intriguing and made me want to know some of their story. Like why were X, why did they Y, who are they to Z.
*Recommend?* 10/10 would recommend to a friend!
(WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS)
I felt like if King of Battle & Blood had a love child with FBAA, and a bit of A Court of Mist & Fury sprinkled on top, you have Of Shadow and Moonlight!

Great book!
I have been dying to read this book since it came out! Luna Laurier did a great job bringing the characters to life and the plot is just a great! There is a little bit of spice and scenes that tug at your heart strings. And that cliff hanger at the end killed me! I cannot wait for book two! If you like gods, goddesses, vampires and all, this book is for you!

I received an arc of this in return for my honest review.
This book was advertised to have ACOTAR, ToG, and Black Dagger Brotherhood vibes. Which it sort of does but I can't say for sure about Brotherhood since I haven't read them. This book definitely gives off some adult age Twilight vibes and kind of reminds me of Shadow Hunters (because of the monster slaying).
The art throughout the book was lovely to see! I wish more books implemented art inside.
This book was a fast and easy read. It took me days to finish because I had some days were I didn't read. Overall this book was good. It had vampires, gods, and monsters. I love me some fantasy even if it's in a modern setting. The book did get kind of boring about 200 pages in but picked back up eventually. That is my personal opinion and you may not think the same. I liked the book and I will be getting the second one when it releases. I'm invested on the characters journeys that lay ahead.
