Niels is the most honorable out of all of the Buchanan brothers! For that I really like him. He’s also really sweet to the boy who follows him around. You know he’s a sweet guy when he lets the boy and dog trail him around and is still patient with them.

There was also once again a good storyline outside of the romance. And once again I was surprised by the villain!

I was enjoying this and then it all of a sudden got very dark and disturbing at the end when the villain was explaining why she did everything. The description almost made me feel sick . That was really only a small part and I was having a good time apart from the end. I really really like Ronson. After reading a couple Lyndsay Sands books in a row I feel like I am getting too used to her formula and I need to take a break. Despite having a good time I noticed that the romance moved along pretty quickly and I don’t like that looking back.

I really enjoyed this one! He’s protective and a bit possessive from the first look! Poor guy is trying to be a gentleman and do things properly for her and things keep getting in his way to get spicy with her. But when then do it’s 🥵. Not much of it in this book it’s more focused on the storyline and I love this plot! It’s a who dun it/found family. The only think I wasn’t thrilled about was they started out at the sisters castle and o my traveled to check on her friend because their sister insisted but then she’s not mentioned again. So that was a bit strange but was so good besides that.

May I just say: AAAAAAHHHHHH THIS IS SUCH A GOOD BOOK!!!! The dynamic between lovers and family is so sweet and such a joy. The brothers are such a riot, I can't get enough. One of the highlights of the series, 100%. The couple is so perfect for each other, and I feel like you get to see a lot of the family and a bit of the mystery that Sands likes to put in her novels. This is just a peak performance of that perfect Lynsay Sands equation.
