This was such an exquisitely executed thriller WOW. From the very page you are immediately hooked in as the action starts right away. At first I found that slightly disorienting and wondered how the rest of the book would continue that momentum but continue it did. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time with a huge knot in my stomach. The characters were all so intriguing even if i didn’t like them very much (Miles and Maddy) and there was also Pete who i absolutely adored except for how extraordinarily naive he was (seriously he was like a little puppy ffs). The book concluded in a very satisfying way which I always appreciate from a thriller and over all nothing felt unbelievable or convoluted like you may expect from a concept like this one. Its a winner for me

this book had me thinking heavily at each action, doubting not only the many “antagonists,” but also the main characters as well. i don’t know how to feel about the ending, i only know i don’t judge the characters for how it ended because i can’t say i wouldn’t do the same. really good book, definitely worth the read. (did not pass the bechdel test as far as i could tell)

Read in 3 days. I was hooked as soon as I read the synopsis. Even though the book is 400 pages, the chapters are short and fast paced so it makes you not want to stop reading! I also liked that every decision the characters made was within reason and was believable. I can’t stand when books become too exaggerated just for a shock factor.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone that is in a reading slump or someone who wants to be hooked for a few days!
