the author described this as a pop song and i have to agree for what it is it slays 

not a big thinky book but a lovely little break! def made me laugh and i really liked the characters and world building, it felt like a love letter to scifi nerdism through time :)

An amusing and shallow scifi romp that kept me pretty entertained.  It did feel a little childish,  with a YA feel and a very predictable,  simplistic plot.  The villain is a cartoon character and il that isn't fixed by the protagonist admitting it out loud.
