I wanted to like this a lot more than I did, and I expected to. It felt hard to follow, creepy but so slow at times that I almost couldn't keep track of what was going on. Just wasn't for me.

I read Adele by Leila Slimani first and preferred that to Lullaby, I was expecting it to be the other way around. Lullaby is described as a thriller which I think is misleading. There are no unexpected twists. I love Leila's writing style and that kept me turning the pages, but I didn't connect to any of the characters, they didn't feel fully fleshed out to me.
