I loved this book!! Being from the South I understand everything that Celia Rivenbark is talking about. This book was so good I could not put it down and read it in less than 24 hours. I was laughing from beginning to end.

This collection of essay's is hilarious. I wish I could get paid for being a smart-ass. You don't have to be southern to appreciate Ms. Rivenbark's humor, but it sure does help!!

I didn't finish this before it had to go back to the library. I thought the author was very entertaining. I believe the book is written in vignettes, so easy to pick back up later if I have the opportunity and need to smile.

Funny essays from the south. The author is a columnist in North Carolina and has a lot of humorous stories. It made me laugh.

She just wasn't very funny. It was more negative Nancy than amusing.
