When I remember how this series started and how it ended it almost feels like it was written by a different author.

This book was a bit different from the previous ones, their relationship started first physically and then the emotions started later on which is not always my favourite.

I don’t really know what was missing between them, I just didn’t connect to them like the previous couples, I felt like the coziness was missing and instead spice was added.

And don’t get me wrong, I like spice when it’s earned and emotionally moving, but here I didn’t really care for it.

I mean I understand how this book is different because of the tropes it has but I don’t know. I’m still glad I finished this series and saw all of the little cameos from all of the couples.

With both Charlie & Nova being more of background characters in the first three books this could definitely work as a standalone; the glimpses at the lives of the other protagonists was cute though and I love the small town vibes that have continued throughout the series! Definitely the spiciest in the series I loved the chemistry between these characters. A great book to end the Lovelight Farm series on!

I freaking love Charlie. I love him so much and I am so mad that he had to feel the things he felt. His character development was amazing though and I'm so happy he had Inglewild and the entire Porter family behind him.

Nova also had her fair share of character development and that was awesome to see too. I really enjoyed getting to know both of these characters better. Also the ADHD and migraine rep was great. Also note, the toxic relationship is not between main characters.

I will miss Inglewild and seeing all the characters there, but I am so happy I went on this journey.
