Oaken finally gets his happy ending.
As one of the sweetest cowboys, he's been waiting for his bride for so long and when Jaya literally crashes into his land and the only way she can stay and repair her ship is to be married he offers her a marriage of convince but of course the attraction, forced proximity and with Oaken sleeping in a tent outside Jaya ship to protect her it was only a matter of time before it starts feeling very real!

I absolutely ate this up. It was just as sweet and funny as the others.
My biggest gripe (and why it's rated lower) is that I feel like we skip over the romance building and tension?? I don't just want "one week later" in a TWO WEEK RELATIONSHIP. I want to hear about those stolen glances. I couldn't truly believe these two had fallen in love yet.
I don't want Jaya learning to love the farm only once we reach the epilogue. I want to see her getting enchanted by a life with him in the story itself!
But I still loved this book for what it was because all of this books have been wonderful.

To say that I've adored every book in this series is kinda an understatement. They're all so good. This one is no exception!
I've been waiting for Oaken to get his bride from the moment he was mentioned in the first book, and how excited he was for a wife. Yet he's such a good himbo, supporting Garrack falling for Magnolia, and was willing to wait.
Then Jaya fell in his lap. She is such an independent character, and it was so nice to see her realize it was time to stop running away from her future.
Yes if: Alien Cowboys meet high tech pilot with multiple cute/meddling companions with pretty low stakes sounds great.
No if: Jaya giving Oaken husband lessons doesn't sound like a good time

I love each of the books in this series more than the last. Oaken so wants a human bride and one crash lands on his ranch. Jaya has no idea where she landed or who Zabrians are, she's just happy the air is breathable until she ends up married.
This book is laugh out loud funny and full of lovable characters and cock tails.
