Hits some of the finer points of adoptive parenting, and how to build and maintain non-traditional families.

I wish I could have this type of family. It's the oddest circumstance. I have no idea if is this something they truly recommend for foster families. It makes sense to me. The author's take on the emotions of the character's toward one another are spot on. I can see some of the arguments and milestones happening in a blended family like this. Highly recommend. Very minor sexual content. Mild profanity.

I read this in one day and for all the wrong reasons. This plot was one big yawn. Complete plateau with minimal character development. Everyone was too stiff and obnoxious of a character to really connect with. Dialogue was of course expected and nothing extraordinary. Honestly the best written chapters were the testimonies from adoptive parents. A great story that had so much more potential.
