Okay so I enjoyed this book, immensely.
Both Maybell and Wesley were lovable characters. Especially Wesley, where he wasn’t your typical Alpha Male™ that you usually see in romance novels. And their character development was well done. The progression of their relationship was nicely done too, if a bit slower than expected. But it worked for both of these characters.
Now all of that aside,
I just wish the writer could have done more with the story as a whole. Maybe amped up the stakes…
Still loved the book, though!

I really enjoy Sarah Hogles writing. I loved everything about this book cute rom com about two people who come to own a large old fashioned house.

This was cute! Maybe I would have enjoyed it a little more having not listened to it on audio? It was cute and awkward and the characters were so fun to watch grow. I didn’t connect with the characters too much but still a fun read!
