I loved this book! The author did a great job with characterization. I felt like I could specifically pick out what enneagram each of them wore. The second half of the book was certainly my favorite.

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars I finished it all in one day. It’s insanely sweet, romantic and at the same time so real and full of emotion. It made me feel very seen as a person with anxiety. Absolutely loved it!

This book is pure sunshine & will leave a smile on your face!  I absolutely loved both of these main characters and how they learned to lean on one another. Their relationship feels so wholesome, sweet and unconventional and I couldn't get enough. Wes was EVERYTHING that I can't get into without spoiling! Maybell is quirky & loveable with her imagination and her head in the clouds plus they have the best connection. The chemistry was fabulously slow burn and so well done.

3.5 stars. This was a bewildering read. It was like a car crash in reverse.

The first 150 pages I thought about DNFing it every single page and by the end I was giggle and cooing. I truly did a full 360.

The MCs are cinnamon rolls but by god do they need therapy. Like I love an HEA, but this book would have been sweeter for me if it has an HEA where they both went to therapy.

Maybell’s daydreaming reveries for the most part we’re unconscionably boring. I get that they’re important to the plot but if we must experience them I’d prefer they be much shorter and more infrequent. I also wish this would have been a novella. The first 150 pages would have been more tolerable if they were 75 pages instead, but even then the first half of this book downright sucked.

Idk. I’m really not sure how Hogle turned pulled out the end of the story for me, but she did. It was very sweet. I will say it was nowhere near as good as her first book but I do think she’s the queen of sassy banter so I will keep reading anything she puts out.

2.5 stars. This one just wasn't for me. I could not relate to Maybell or Wesley. There were moments I thought were good but overall it was a disappointing read.
