This was really, really fun. It's been a long time since I read Jane Eyre, and I barely remember it. So resemblances or whatever were kind of lost on me. I don't know if that made a difference in my enjoyment, but I had a lot of fun reading this.

What a creative idea for a story! Unfortunately the humor fell flat and the writing felt lazy. There were some feel-good moments in the book--when the authors say crying is a reminder that we are alive and when Jane Eyre has a moment of thanks for all the people she loves in her life. This is a YA book and I might have liked it better if I'd read it when I was younger.

3.5 stars. It was entertaining but nowhere near My Lady Jane.

It was a fun reimagining of the Jane Eyre story with cheeky pop culture references. It doesn't have a ton of depth, but is a good option for anyone looking for a light read.

This book was so great. It was light and unexpected. The characters were great. I would recommend this book to everyone.
