Ich hatte eine SO GUTE Zeit mit diesem Buch. Unfassbar witzig, schnell, schräg, abenteuerlich! Tolle Protagonistin die sich aus verschiedenen Dramen in die nächsten flüchtet. Ungewöhnliche Beziehungen zu Mutter/Verwandtschaft/Männern, die dazu anregen, die eigenen zu reflektieren. Ich habe ihr die ganze Zeit eine Freundin an die Seite gewünscht. Sprachlich sooo gut, so viel gelacht beim lesen. Hab's geliebt.

Not my favorite Atwood, but I definitely tore thru this one, eating it up. Some really ingenious imagery and metaphors hit you when you weren't expecting it.

Lady Oracle felt like multiple ideas for a novel, all rolled into one and all unfinished in their own way. There was too much going on in this novel for any of the plots to make sense or feel complete. 
I think (and some reviewers admit) that people are only scoring this so highly because it’s a Margaret Atwood novel.
Wouldn’t read again.
