I didn’t like it anymore. I found it way too far from what I usually like

Okay there are SEVERAL things that I REALLY loved about this book, but I felt like the author missed the opportunity to really having me fight for my loyalties between the opposing sisters. Instead there was one i was obviously rooting for and the other I just found annoying and foolish. I also was not expecting the book to be in a modern setting, love the cover art but it made me think more historical fantasy type setting instead. Regardless I did really enjoy it and I liked the dragon element and the fact that it is a standalone is also very nice. I do wish I loved it more though cause it had a ton of potential.

An entirely new and amazing approach to dragons and sorcerers.
I love it when characters are complicated and every one of them has a point one way or another (except Calla, fuck you Calla). I particularly love it when characters make mistakes and they aren't just erased because the main conflict needs their attention or is solved. At the end of the book, there's a lot still left to do, and that's not erased.
Alsojustice for Zephyr . His death made me cry.
It's been well over a month since I read this book so I don't know what more to say, but this book is definitely a recommendation for all you dragon lovers out there.

I didn’t expect this to take place in a non fantasy world so the first chapter I was super confused thinking I had the wrong book. It took some getting in to the whole vibe, but this book had some really nice twists and turns.

It was alright. There were some moments I enjoyed but overall I got bored with it. I personally love magic realism but I think when it comes to the topic of dragons there is only two ways it can go for me.
