DNF at like 41%. The first 1/3 was fine but re-treads a lot of his earlier stuff (The Talisman, Hearts in Atlantis). Charlie is the laziest teen King has ever written; he just references things that a 60-year-old would and handwaves it as "my dad made me watch a lot of old movies with him." Once Charlie got into fantasyland it slowed down when I felt like it should be picking up. From others' reviews it sounds like it doesn't get better.
