Definitely a slow read, it picked up for me around 30% in but slowed down until 50%, then got better from there. You have to work for it though, there’s a lottt of backstory to the whole thing.
It was an interesting story, I didn’t expect the plot much based on the beginning; I was super lost for like 80% of the book (lol) but it was still good!
Wouldn’t recommend as a palette cleanser book technically, but if you need to switch up the genre for a slower pace, I’d recommend!
